It took me several weeks to finish the first and long step of my first knitting project for a long time. Due to my busy schedule, I couldn't knit as much as I wanted to. But for someone who can some time to knit everyday. This should be easily accomplish in less than a week time. In my eagerness, I have forgotten to at least get a picture of the first step. It finally reached a rectangular mat of length of 20cm by 83 stitches. Quite a sense of accomplishment.
So now, I will need to stitch the 2 ends together using a smaller thread of the same purple colour. Stitch in such a way that when the bottom part of the hat is folded in as the picture in the part 1, no part of the stitch can be seen.

Picture shown the right side out, of the knitted baby square hat.
This is how the Baby Square Hat Knitting should look with the bottom folded.
